mechatronic systemtechnik gmbh is a successful medium-sized company with its headquarters in Villach, Austria. We have been developing and manufacturing equipment for the semiconductor industry since 1998, and we specialise in handling wafers > 50 µm.

mechatronic handling systems process wafers enabling non-contact and entirely automated processes. Our innovations are based on the patents for Bernoulli end effectors which we developed together with Infineon Technologies AG, and to which we have exclusive rights.

We are the leading company in the world that handles ultra-thin wafers on the chip or the back side without using conventional technology (e.g. tape and frame.)
